Testimonials

The training camps I’ve done leading up to this season have put me in the best shape I have been in before any season. Our training has always had great variety, mixing traditional gym sessions with Muay Thai or hikes over Dartmoor. There’s no red carpet prima donna stuff, Dean says it how it is & we get the work done, this approach has worked really well for me personally!
I will have no hesitation in taking Dean with me to F1 if I manage to get there in 2022. After all has been said and done, he’s a bloody good bloke and the banter we have off track is something that is often lacking in motorsport. I’ve really enjoyed our time so far and am looking forward to many more seasons working together.

This has been a massive asset in my preparation, and I can’t thank him enough for that.
It really has been a pleasure to work with Dean, he’s someone you can trust and have great banter with! I look forward to many more years working together!

From observation, it’s clear Dean is a highly skilled practitioner and one of the progressive coaches utilising cutting edge methods around driver heat management, neurocognitive training and performance recovery. I would have no hesitation in recommending this consummate professional.

I look forward too many more successful years working together.

I had some great races last year and part of that was the recovery protocols Dean implemented for me. Dean and his team really saved me at times as I can become quite dehydrated in the car and had struggled previously with muscle cramps.
Dean ensured I was able to perform at my best in the most difficult of conditions leading to podium results for the whole team.

Dean was right there when I needed him at the track keeping me hydrated and in good physical shape to ensure I recovered well and was ready for my next stint.

It was clear to see massive gains in Power, Speed and overall conditioning from the whole squad but there was also a notable decrease in the number of injuries we suffered due to his training methods.
He’s a very empathetic coach who often thinks outside the box to keep training fresh and fun whilst having a strong work ethic.
For me as the proud Team Manager of Newport RFC, what I appreciated as much as anything was how he bought into the club, appreciated its proud history and genuinely cared about the club, upholding our values and the individuals involved.

Whilst under his wing I was lucky enough to compete in the Commonwealth Fencing Championships in Cape Town where I won a Silver Medal, and I credit Dean’s training strategies as part of that success.
He truly is a great guy and will listen to your goals and help you achieve them in the best way he can.

Dean was a highly valued member of the Wales Rugby League organisation.

He challenged me to improve in the gym, oversaw my race hydration, nutrition and importantly my recovery between race stints. I really value his help and the banter made the whole season more enjoyable!

As a result of both of our hard work I received a call up to the full Welsh International Rugby League squad which went on to win the Euro Nations Tournament in October 2009.
It goes without saying I would recommend Dean to anyone looking to reach the next level within their chosen sport.

After injuring myself, Dean was able to liaise with my Physiotherapist and put in place an agreed rehab program to get me back to full function.

Dean was always there for the drivers whenever we needed treatments or specific advice. Dean always created a friendly atmosphere. We had great chats and a good laugh which I really enjoyed!

His background and results with athletes across a range of sports at all levels speak for itself.

Within weeks of training with Dean my results improved dramatically!
I began to get on the podium in races and everyone noticed a difference in how I was skiing. I am now Welsh National Champion on the dry ski slope, I represent Wales on dry slope and on snow, and I have recently been invited to train on snow with the England Alpine Team.

From first meeting Dean, we instantly grew a strong working relationship which helped me have absolute trust and faith in his work.
Dean helped me not only from a physical perspective but also from the mental side which I utilized a lot throughout the year. He would give me all the time needed to talk through the many aspects of being ready to compete at my highest level and anything we were unable to fully understand in the moment, Dean would research further and come back with answers.
On the odd occasions I needed further medical assistance, Dean was able to put me in contact with and make appointments with some of the best sporting medical specialists in the country and did so in incredibly quick fashion.
Dean was a positive influence in every aspect of my season. Always there at trackside ready to assist as well as going above and beyond by regularly checking up on me away from the circuit to make sure I had everything I needed to be able to perform.”
