Strength and conditioning

Over a number of years, research has demonstrated that appropriate training can improve performance; it also shows that incorrect training can cause performance to be negatively affected. Using a variety of training modalities such as strength, power, work capacity, endurance, speed and agility it is possible to positively affect athletic performance.

Every athlete has different technical and physical strengths and weakness that can be improved by specific training interventions. At Fouache Performance we work closely with technical and tactical coaches as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a truly wholistic approach to improving performance.

Once the specific performance qualities have been identified, they are measured and tracked to ensure that the strength and conditioning programme is being effective and achieving its goals.

A well-designed strength and conditioning programme will increase an athletes’ tolerance to training and importantly decrease their likelihood of injury.
